HANOVER TOWNSHIP -- On this Father’s Day, a different type of celebration was held for one spiritual father in Luzerne County.
The community at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Parish in Hanover Township helped Father Kevin Mulhern celebrate 40 years since he was ordained to the priesthood.
Parishioners held a special Mass of thanksgiving and reception.
It also marked Father Mulhern's first Mass back at the church in Luzerne County after his battle with cancer.
