SCRANTON -- People in Scranton answered the call to give a Little League field a much-needed makeover.
Last week we showed the problems at Reddington Field on Wood Street including crumbling bleachers and the snack bar falling apart.
Wednesday morning, volunteers started fixing up the field. They moved rocks and painted the bleachers and stands.
The place provides many kids from low-income families the chance to play ball with the Central City Little League.
Fidelity Bank is spearheading the renovation at this ballpark.
