DENNISON TOWNSHIP — A woman from New York was killed in a crash on Interstate 80 in Luzerne County Friday night.
Troopers tell us the driver of the vehicle fell asleep and crashed into the guide rail in the westbound lanes near the junction of I-80 and I-81.
The driver was not hurt.
The 78-year-old woman who was killed was a passenger in the vehicle.
Her name has not yet been released.
