SALEM, Oregon– A group of Domino’s Pizza workers in Oregon helped save a man’s life over the weekend, police said.

When the employees didn’t hear from one of their regular customers for several days, they sent one of their drivers, Tracey Hamblen, to check on him.

According to KATU, the man didn’t answer the door but the lights and television were on. That’s when Hamblen called 911.

When deputies responded to the man’s home, they heard someone calling for help. They found the man on the ground and in need of medical attention. He’s now in stable condition.

A manager said the customer, Kirk Alexander, 48, has ordered a pizza almost every day for more than 10 years.

“He orders every day, every other day,” Domino’s manager Sarah Fuller told KOIN. “His order pops up on the screen because he orders online. So we see it come across the screen and we’re like, ‘Oh, Kirk’s order.’”

In a statement to FOX 12, the sheriff’s office said, “The (Marion County) Sheriff’s Office would like to personally thank Mr. Hamblen for his quick actions and willingness to take time out of his day to care for others.”

I would just like to comment on the taste test of Ben and Jerry’s non dairy chunky monkey. All of your news caster said it tasted funny but for a person that can’t eat regular ice cream it’s the best tasting stuff on the planet. I would not discourage sales of this product because when you can’t have regular ice cream this is the most fantastic most flavorful ice cream substitute you could ever dream of! I happen to really enjoy the stuff and am so thankful they make it.
