SHAMOKIN -- A second person has been arrested in Northumberland County for allegedly letting his pit bull attack and kill a cat.

Police arrested Timothy Tyrone Tyler, 22, of Mount Carmel Tuesday.

Surveillance video shows the dogs chasing a pet cat onto a porch where it was killed.

Tyler is locked up, facing animal fighting, reckless endangerment, and other charges.

Crum was taken to a juvenile detention facility. He faces two counts of felony cruelty to animals, as well as reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct charges.

Police tell us the dogs were seized and taken to a shelter, and there is no plan to euthanize the dogs.
