JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP -- Some kids in Lackawanna County spent part of the school day gardening outdoors.
Staff from St. Mary's Villa nursing home planted flowers and seedlings with children at Jefferson Elementary in Mount Cobb.
The students also got some seedlings to take home in celebration of Earth Day.
