State Police Investigating After Bones Found Near Danville

MAYBERRY TOWNSHIP -- State police are investigating after they say bones were found near Danville.

Troopers said the bones were discovered in the area of Boyd Station Road and Little Roaring Creek Road in Mayberry Township, south of Danville, sometime before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The coroner confirmed on Wednesday that the bones are human and a forensic anthropology team will examine the scene.
