BELLEFONTE -- Convicted serial child molester Jerry Sandusky is set to appear in Centre County court early next month.

The former football coach is seeking an evidentiary hearing to have some of the charges on which he was sentenced set aside. He also wants a new trial on other charges, WPMT reports.

In 2012, a jury found Sandusky guilty of 45 counts of sexual abuse of young boys over a 15-year period from 1994 to 2009.

A judge sentenced him to 30 to 60 years in prison.

The hearing is scheduled for May 2.

45 counts of abuse to boys, spanning over at least 15 years isn’t enough to keep this creep in jail???????
