SCRANTON — People walked the “Pink” Carpet in Scranton Sunday night in the fight against breast cancer.

Susan G. Komen of Northeastern Pennsylvania hosted its pre-Oscars party at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel on Lackawanna Avenue.

Guests came dressed as their favorite celebrities and finest pink attire to benefit the foundation.

“We’re thrilled. We’ve been doing Pink Elegance on Parade Fashion Show for 11 years and this is our first year doing Pink Elegance Goes Hollywood and Oscar Party and isn’t it great?” said Joanne Arduino, event co-chair.

“It’s wonderful. I think it’s way beyond everyone’s expectations, even ours,” added Laurie Caddin, event co-chair.

The event also included a drag fashion show this year.
