HARVEYS LAKE -- A nearly century-old bridge in part of Luzerne County is off limits to traffic until repairs are finished.
The Route 415 bridge in Harveys Lake was closed Monday while crews work to replace it.
The original bridge is about ninety years old.
The new bridge will cost more than $1 million.
A short detour will be in place along Old Lake Road that will lead drivers back to Route 415.
The contractor hopes to have the project finished in June, but PennDOT says if the weather cooperates, the bridge at could be ready for Memorial Day weekend.
