ANTHONY TOWNSHIP -- It was a mechanical failure that caused a military blimp to break free in Maryland and crash here in Montour County, according to the Baltimore Sun.
NORAD told the newspaper that a malfunction in a pressure sensing device caused the blimp to become unstable in the air.
It broke loose from its tether in Maryland back in October and crashed in Montour County causing a path of destruction along the way.
