WILKES-BARRE -- An organization known to help others in need is getting some tender loving care itself.

Leadership Wilkes-Barre held a benefit Sunday at Rodano's on Public Square to raise money for Brandon's Forever Home, which helps foster children.

The charity in Hazleton needs a larger kitchen. All of the money raised at Sunday's Eat, Drink and Be Family event will fund the kitchen renovation project.

Brandon's Forever Kitchen team member Theron Solomon said, "These events not only get us the money and help us raise awareness, but they really get the word out to the future needs and what they'll need past this event."

Leadership Wilkes-Barre expects to use the money raised to completely redesign the charity's kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, and appliances.
