BARRETT TOWNSHIP -- The former owner of a burned-out theater in the Poconos was sentenced Monday on federal charges.
Ralph Miller, 69, of New Hope, a community in Bucks County, must serve 30 months in state prison.
Miller is the owner of the old Pocono Playhouse.
The historic theater near Mount Pocono burned in 2009.
A jury convicted Miller for filing false insurance claims after the fire.
Miller also filed false claims after a flood damaged another theater he owned in Bucks County.
In addition to the prison term, Miller must pay $239,875 in restitution and serve three years supervised release, with the first 12 months served on home confinement.
