MIDDLETOWN — Some people are starting 2016 with quite a bit more money in their pocket.
One of the four grand prize tickets in Saturday’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle was sold in Schuylkill County.
The winning ticket was purchased at Rentschlers Ice Cream in Ringtown.
A total of 6,000 winning numbers were randomly drawn from 473,913 tickets that were sold between November 10, 2015, and January 2, 2016. Prizes ranged from $100 all the way up to $1 million.
Winners won’t be identified until the prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
