SCRANTON -- People around the world and in our area rang in 2016 with big celebrations.
Those celebrations included the one in downtown Scranton, where the New Year was welcomed in at midnight with a bang.
Dozens gathered at Courthouse Square for "First Night Scranton". The annual celebration included music, food, and a massive fireworks display.
