P & G Warehouse Evacuated Due to Gas Leak

MESHOPPEN TOWNSHIP -- A plant in Wyoming County was evacuated for hours Saturday morning while crews fixed a natural gas leak.

P & G near Tunkhannock uses trucks that run on natural gas for shipping.

Employees were forced out around 5:30 a.m., after the smell of gas filled the building.

No one was hurt.

The leak was fixed, and P & G was back in business by 8:30 a.m.
