ASHLAND -- An elderly man is dead after he was hit by a van in Schuylkill county.
The coroner reports, Walter Bogus, 85, was crossing Centre Street in Ashland when he was struck shortly after seven Friday night.
He died at the hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
No word if the driver of the vehicle will be charged after the deadly crash.
