SUNBURY -- The FBI now says a threat made against an organization's Christmas party in Northumberland County was unfounded.
According to Sunbury's police chief, an employee of the organization overheard a co-worker, who lives in the city on a visa, make comments that made her uneasy. That employee told family members who called police.
In light of the terror attack in California, Sunbury police contacted state police who handed the investigation over to the FBI.
Again, the FBI looked into the alleged threat and found there was no truth to it.
