MOOSIC -- Gryzboski's Train Store in Lackawanna County held special events on Saturday in celebration of the first-ever National Lionel Train Day.
The iconic train company "Lionel" is visiting numerous hobby shops nationwide, including the shop in Moosic, to celebrate the joy trains have provided to generations of families through the years.
Store owner Joe Gryzboski said, "The phone is a great thing and all this internet and stuff, but what would really be good is for kids to work with their father and grandfather to work as a team to learn things and build together."
This year, Lionel will celebrate its 115th anniversary of making toy trains for enthusiasts of all ages.
