SCRANTON -- Lackawanna County is stepping in to help food pantries this holiday season.
Commissioners announced Tuesday morning that collection boxes will be placed at all county offices, on COLTS buses, and at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.
Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at any of those locations between next Monday and December 17.
