Penn State Ticket Sales Will Help THON

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State announced it is donating half of all proceeds from tickets to this weekend's football game against Michigan to THON.

There are still around 3,000 remaining for the game at Beaver Stadium.

Penn State's THON raises millions in the fight against childhood cancer every year.

The donation from ticket sales this week is meant to help make up for some fundraising events canceled this fall due to safety concerns.

The so called "canning weekends" were called off after a student was killed in a crash.
