POTTSVILLE -- Halloween came a little early for some trick or treaters in Schuylkill County.
Ghosts, ghouls, and witches roamed the streets in downtown Pottsville Thursday evening in search of candy and treats at local stores and businesses.
The annual Safe Trick or Treat is organized by the Pottsville Business Association.
"It's nice to have the community all together for at least something here and there. It's good. It's safe, too, so it's another good item to come down for," said Kim Bowers, a business owner.
Even though it was the 13th year of the event, the Halloween fun went off without a hitch.
