CARBONDALE -- A church in Lackawanna County is expanding.
The Carbondale First United Methodist Church on North Church Street dedicated a new pavilion during Sunday morning services.
The pavilion will be used to host picnics and other church events.
The new addition to the place of worship in Carbondale comes as many churches across our area are consolidating or closing their doors.
