Today marks World Alzheimer's Day. The goal is to encourage people to wear purple to help raise awareness about the disease. Alzheimer's causes memory loss, thinking and behavioral problems. Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey visited a Geisinger healthcare facility in Scranton to talk with doctors about the new ways to prevent and treat the disease.
