An event aimed at making summer fun last just a big longer gets started this weekend.
The sixth annual Wally Lake Fest launches Friday afternoon.
The weekend activities take place on the north shore of Lake Wallenpaupack and in downtown Hawley.
Wally Lake Fest runs through Sunday and involves everything from a boat parade to bands on the lake.
There are also free activities for kids and adults.
