WILLIAMSPORT -- Throughout the 10 days of the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, some places in Williamsport say they experience a boom in business.

The Bullfrog Brewery on West Fourth Street in Williamsport is quiet now, but employees say right before and after the Little League World Series games they are packed.

"Little League is honestly our busiest time of the year, no matter what," Jenna Evelhair said.

Evelhair is a waitress at the Bullfrog Brewery and says many restaurants depend on the World Series each year. She says this year is especially busy because the Pennsylvania team brought a lot of fans with them.

"You're getting people in here for lunch, dinner, afterwards. I mean, the games don't end until 10, 10:30 but we still get a crowd after that," Evelhair said.

"I do think if they make it to the final that we might see some activity coming from farther out of town," Mark Schefsky said.

Schefsky is the manager at Genetti Hotel and Suites in Williamsport. He says three teams' families are staying at the hotel. During the World Series, his hotel and restaurant both get more business.

"Generally the economic impact is huge," Schefsky said.

When you think of Little League, you probably don't typically think of art galleries but the owner of this one here in Williamsport says this year he wanted to get involved with the World Series.

"This is an exciting time for them so what better way to show their support than to have a personalized t-shirt," asked John Yogodzinski.

Converge Gallery on West Fourth Street has equipment to print t-shirts. So the owner says he's printed some for a few of the teams and fans. The Little League World Series goes for 10 days in South Williamsport.
