MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- Attorney General Kathleen Kane is due in Montgomery County Court on Monday.
The charges Kathleen Kane faces at the preliminary hearing could get her tossed out of office.
At the close of the hearing, a district justice will decide if there is enough evidence to send Kane's case to trial.
Attorney General Kathleen Kane faces a list of charges including perjury, false swearing, obstructing the administration of law, official oppression, and conspiracy.
It's alleged Kane leaked information from a grand jury, and lied to cover it up. According to prosecutors, Kane's motive was to get back at opponents.
Kane denied the charges against her. Kane said the accusations are just a plot to get back at her because of her investigation into pornographic e-mails on state computers.
The hearing is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
Kane said she will not resign, adding that it would be an admission of guilt, and she is not guilty. Kane is up for re-election next year.
So far, one democrat and two republicans have announced they will run for attorney general, for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
