UPDATE: Victim of Ultralight Plane Crash Identified

BRIDGEWATER TOWNSHIP — A plane crash in Susquehanna County Friday evening left a man from Montrose dead.

State police identified the victim as Rodney Hunsinger, 66. He was piloting an ultralight aircraft that went down around 7:30 p.m. in a field along Spring Valley Road near Montrose.

Troopers say Hunsinger was the only one on board the aircraft.

The Federal Aviation Administration and state police are investigating the crash.
