LACKAWANNA COUNTY---Four Marines are dead and three other people injured, after suspected killer Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez opened fire at a Naval Operation Support Center and an Armed Forces Recruiting Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In Northeast Pennsylvania, people are reacting to news of the tragedy.

"It's not safe, you know what I mean? At any given time it can happen, any state. We're not even safe in our own country, you know what I mean? But it happens," said Jonathan Hill of Scranton.

Military officials at the Armed Forces Recruiting Center in Wilkes-Barre Township could not comment on the shootings or a possible increase in security as a result.
In Scranton, military officials also could not comment.
Bobby Walls and Bruce Wall of Scranton are considering joining the armed forces.
Wall had a meeting with a recruiter in Scranton Thursday afternoon.
The friends were horrified by news of the shootings.

"It's terrible, must have been a terrorist attack. It was really bad what happened, I feel sorry for the guys," said Bobby Walls.

"It was random, it could happen anywhere around here. It's sick," said Bruce Wall.

That is what some people said scares them the most: the fact that it could have happened anywhere.

"You never really know who it could be but that's a shame, I feel sorry not only for the families but for his family because they lost someone also, man. It's chaos, man, it's chaotic out here right now, man," said Hill.
