PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP -- A new Turnpike interchange opened Tuesday in Carbon County just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.
The Route 903 E-ZPass only interchange directs drivers to the Jim Thorpe/Lake Harmony areas.
It was built with the intention of shortening travel times to and from attractions in the Poconos.
