Dedication at St. Vincent de Paul in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE -- The late president of the St. Vincent de Paul kitchen in Wilkes-Barre was honored Monday.

Bishop Joseph Bambera of the Diocese of Scranton dedicated the dining room in memory of Joseph Frank.

"Joe Frank was the president of the board from its inception. He was very instrumental in creating this kitchen and keeping it going," said Msgr. Joseph Kelly, director of St. Vincent de Paul kitchen.

The kitchen on East Jackson Street in Wilkes-Barre provides a meal each day to men, women, and children in need.
