WILKES-BARRE — A woman is facing assault charges for allegedly attacking police and a pregnant children and youth worker in Luzerne County.

Wilkes-Barre police say Christine Totten, 32, of Pittston got angry Monday and shoved the worker after being told her infant was secured improperly in a child seat.

Officers were called and that’s when police say Totten tried to bite and kick police officers.

The woman was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

It boggles the mind and breaks the heart for these kids when you see whose supposed to be in charge of their care! Some people have no clue, no shame, no class. Drugs? Mental illness? Always a good excuse huh?! FB can be a venue to prove how good some people can be, or what a nightmare they can be!
