Woman Robbed of Lottery Ticket Winnings

MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP — Police are looking for whoever robbed a female at a business in Monroe County.

Authorities said the victim cashed a lottery ticket worth $100 at the Turkey Hill on Winona Falls Road near Marshalls Creek around 10 p.m. Saturday, when a woman approached her in the parking lot and took the money.

The thief then fled in a small black Nissan sedan with tinted windows.

The female was described as approximately 5’2″ tall, weighing 100 pounds with black hair in a bun, wearing a black jacket with purple pajama pants, according to police.
