PECKVILLE -- It was the 100th day of school in the Valley View School District Wednesday and to celebrate students at the elementary school in Peckville pretended they were 100 years old.

Students in two kindergarten classes and one second grade class went to school dressed as 100 year olds. They donned silver wigs, glasses, and canes to look the part.

Even some of the teachers at the school in Lackawanna County dressed up.

This was the first time the school celebrated the 100th day in this fashion.
