DUNMORE -- A lot of people in the area are waking up to a coating of white stuff Friday morning.

The snow fell in most areas overnight.

The O'Neill Highway in Dunmore was covered in slush around 1:00 a.m.

PennDOT crews have been busy plowing and treating the roads.

Many schools that were delayed are now closing. For the latest school closings and delays, click here.

You know, it can be extremely inconvenient to watch for delays then have school canceled altogether due to the incompetence of a TV personality who gets paid tons of money to be wrong and incredibly annoying. Schnedecker is a slideshow I wouldn’t pay money to see.

Yes, closing because you can not rely on 16’s forecast. I watched 10 minutes of the Snedeker sideshow to get 1 minute if weather stating snow showers to give maybe another inch. Since then I’ve had 3″ and it’s snowing harder now than it was 2 hours ago. Wish I could be that consistently inaccurate at my job and keep it.
