OLD FORGE -- This is one of the busiest times of the year for the postal service and one carrier is getting into the holiday spirit.
Frank Piccotti has carried on a holiday tradition for about 30 years of his career as a U.S. mail carrier.
He usually picks a day before Christmas and gets dressed up in a nutcracker costume.
Piccotti thought Monday would be the best weather day so he did his rounds in Old Forge in his festive outfit.
The mail carrier said it helps people he sees on his route get into the holiday spirit.
