RICE TOWNSHIP -- When firefighters were called out to a home in Luzerne County Wednesday morning, they ended up carrying the family's Christmas presents out of the place.
The home in Mountain Top caught fire around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters tell us a mother and child live there but neither was home at the time
A relative talked about what the family lost.
"There's nothing, they have nothing, only the clothes on their backs," said Mickey Weitoish.
Investigators are now trying to find out what caused the fire.
