MOUNT POCONO -- Arrests were made in connection with a shooting at a bar in Monroe County.
Newswatch 16 first reported about the shoot-out at Copa Bar and Grille in Mount Pocono that seriously hurt two people in 2012.
Mount Pocono Regional Police arrested Gregory Cousar, 41, of White Haven; Ronnie Washington, 26, and Kerey Cousar, 29, both of Tobyhanna, and charged them with criminal conspiracy to commit homicide.
Gregory Cousar shot Eric Williams, 38, of Marshalls Creek, on March 5, 2012 seriously injuring him, when Williams was leaving his birthday party at the bar around 3 a.m., according to police.
Authorities said Williams shot back at Cousar in self defense, seriously injuring him.
Officials learned that there were problems in the past between the Cousars and Williams, and said the shooting in Monroe County was planned.
