MAHANOY CITY -- Police believe a 13-year-old boy is responsible for a school threat that caused an early dismissal in the Mahanoy Area School District.

All school buildings in the district were evacuated Tuesday after the threat was found, and the students were sent home early.

Police say they will file charges in juvenile court.

Authorities do not believe the boy is responsible for the other two threats made in Mahanoy Area in October.
