SCRANTON -- Some zombies dusted off their dancing shoes in Scranton trying to help break a world record.

"Thrill the World" is a global "Thriller" flash mob. People danced to the classic hit by Michael Jackson Saturday at 5 p.m.

All the dancers at the Scranton Cultural Center helped raise money to send local kids to art school.

As part of "Thrill the World" there were hundreds of other flash mob dances going on at the same time all around the globe to attempt to break the record for the "Largest Simultaneous Dance to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller.'"
