In October of 1993 Susquehanna University QB Erick Hackenberg was the WNEP-TV Sportstar of the Week.
The former Marian Catholic star had transferred from the University of Virginia, and sparked the Crusaders with his strong arm and intelligence at the quarterback position.
Times have changed. Erick's son Christian is the starting quarterback at Penn State.
But, some things haven't changed. Steve Briggs is still the head coach at Susquehanna, and Jim Coles is still reporting/anchoring at WNEP-TV.
