Traffic Slowed During Crash Cleanup in Columbia County

SOUTH CENTRE TOWNSHIP -- A driver crashed and lost control of his or her SUV along Route 11 in Columbia County.

Police say the SUV was heading south on Route 11 around 7:20 a.m. Monday when the driver lost control, crossed both lanes of traffic, hit three vehicles in used car parking lot, and flipped.

According to officials, the driver was taken to the hospital for a serious injury, but the driver was talking to paramedics.

Police believe a medical condition might have played a part in the crash in South Centre Township.

Traffic on Route 11 was slowed, but not stopped, during the investigation and cleanup in Columbia County.
