CANADENSIS --The manhunt for the man state police say killed a trooper and injured another goes on. Eric Frien remains on the run.

For more than three weeks, many in Monroe County claimed to see Frein.

As police fanned out Monday morning, people come to the food bank in Canadensis, sponsored by a group of churches.

That's where we met Marion Bush from Canadensis, and she has a story to tell. Marion says, two weeks ago, she saw a man near her home along Oak road, who "might" have been accused cop killer Eric Frein.

"I seen this guy walking, I never seen him before. He had a green hooded jacket on and he had camouflage pants on, like a wool pair," Bush recalled.

While Bush wasn't 100 percent sure it was Frein, she didn't take any chances and called police. After all, he did fit the description. According to police, Frein is 6'1" and weighs 165 pounds.

"He was a skinny, a real skinny guy with a hooded jacket on and it was zipped up and he had a beard and when I looked at him, he turned his face."

Bush tells me she's been locking her doors and being extra careful because the man who allegedly shot two state troopers, killing one, is still on the loose.

The story doesn't end on Oak Road. There is another possible Frein connection and it's back down at the food pantry in Canadensis.

Police think Frein could be running low on food. He's been on the run more than three weeks. A food pantry could be an inviting target and over the weekend something or someone tripped the burglar alarm.

"Our side basement door was tripped. The police came. They found nothing, but the door if jiggled could set off the alarm," said food pantry director Becky Leister.

Leister says they are taking precautions during the Frein search such as keeping the front door locked during times they're not distributing food to the public.
