WILKES-BARRE-- It was an eye-catching way to raise money to fight cancer in Luzerne County today.
Dozens of bras were donated for Bras Across the Bridge, an annual event to raise awareness for breast cancer.
The event includes stringing the bras together across the Market Street Bridge in Wilkes-Barre.
Some of the bras were decorated with messages honoring lives lost to the disease and others paid tribute to survivors.
Each bra donated is a five dollar donation to the American Cancer Society.
Organizers of the event say they hoped to raise at least $3,000.
