SCRANTON -- More than 1,000 people got an up close look at some vehicles today in Scranton.

The sixth annual Touch a Truck event was held at Nay Aug Park in Scranton Saturday afternoon.

Kids could check out more than three dozen trucks including fire trucks, the bookmobile, and even WNEP-TV's satellite truck.

There was a child ID program and a police K9 demonstration as well.

The event was presented by the Junior League of Scranton and money raised at the event goes to supporting the league's programs in the Scranton area.
