KINGSTON -- A truck being used to fix and maintain the dike system tipped on its side in Kingston.
According to officials, around 6:45 a.m. Thursday, the driver was moving dirt and was lifting it up when the load shifted.
Authorities said the driver lost control of the truck and it tipped on its side near Crane Street and South Dawes Avenue.
The driver was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
The company who owns the truck is working to remove it, but there is no time frame when that will be done.
