Prison Term In Attempted Homicide Case

WILKES-BARRE -- A man found guilty of attempted homicide in Luzerne County was sentenced Tuesday.

Joshua Ovalles was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in state prison.

Ovalles was found guilty last month of the 2013 shooting on Kent Lane in Wilkes-Barre.

Ovalles is expected to go to trial later this month for a deadly shooting on South Grant Street in Wilkes-Barre.
