Police Dog Tracks Down Suspect In Armed Robbery

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — A police canine was able to track a suspect in an armed robbery Tuesday morning in South Williamsport.

Officers were called to Puff Discount Cigarettes on Riverside Drive around 9:30 a.m.

Police say someone threatened the cashier and got away with cash.

A police canine was able to find the suspect hiding near the Susquehanna River.

Police have not released his name and are still investigating the armed robbery.

    i was actually about to get on the bridge during my walk today and the guy came within 10 feet of me. cop flags me down on the bridge and i told them i saw him running west towards the woods.
