The RailRiders opened up a four game series against Buffalo, with a win! The RailRiders took the lead in the 3rd inning with a RBI single by Scott Sizemore. But, Buffalo scored two runs in the 6th inning to tie the game at 5. As colder, and wetter weather arrived, the RailRiders were able to avoid extra innings as Zoilo Almonte had a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the 9th inning to give the home team a 6-5 victory.
