BERWICK -- Folks in Columbia County were making way for the future home of a tank built for WWII.

The ceremony was held at Reliance Fire Hall in Berwick as folks gathered to mark the 70th anniversary of the last tank to roll off the assembly line at the local plant that built them.

This M3A1 Stuart tank was built in Berwick in 1942. The tank will eventually stay here as a memorial in the future dedicated to the workers who built tanks like it and the troops who rode them into battle years ago.
